Agreement to Terms

By using the oona application (the "App") and our website at oonascheduling.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Account Registration

You may be required to register with the App and provide certain information including your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for all data, information, and material that you submit or create through the App, including:

• Event names and descriptions
• Participant invitations
• Availability information
• Friends and social connections
• Any other content you share

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and not to engage in any harmful, abusive, or illegal activities.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the functioning of the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Upload or share malicious content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Spam or harass other users

4. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it.

5. Premium Subscriptions

The Service offers premium subscription features ("Oona Plus"). By subscribing to premium features, you agree to the following:

• Subscription fees are charged on a monthly or annual recurring basis, depending on the plan you choose
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the subscription management interface
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period
• Refunds are handled according to the payment provider's policies (Stripe for web, Apple for iOS)
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers
• Subscription benefits continue until the end of the paid period, even if you cancel mid-cycle
• Some Oona Plus features are platform-specific (for example, optional Apple Calendar busy-day overlay on iPhone). Those features require your permission on the device and are described in our Privacy Policy.

For iOS users, subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. For web users, subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Please refer to their respective terms and policies for payment-related inquiries.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and everything we create for it—including the oona name and branding, software, designs, text, images, and how the product works—belong to oona and our licensors. Those materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Using the Service does not give you ownership of any of that material.

You keep ownership of the content you create in the App (such as event names and availability you submit). You give us permission to host, display, and process that content only so we can run the Service for you and your guests, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Unless we give you written permission, you must not:

• Copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download data or content from the Service using automated tools, scripts, or bots
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise try to discover the Service's source code, underlying ideas, or non-public APIs
• Remove, hide, or change copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Service
• Use our name, logo, branding, marketing copy, screenshots, or in-app wording to promote another product or service
• Build or operate a website, app, or other product that copies our look, feel, or wording in a way that could confuse people about whether it is oona or affiliated with us
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or other technical protections we use to keep the Service secure and reliable

Nothing in these Terms stops you from using the Service in normal ways or from sharing your own event links and invitations with people you invite. General ideas about group scheduling are not what this section claims to own—only our specific expression of the Service and the materials listed above.

If you believe someone is misusing oona's intellectual property, contact us at support@oonascheduling.app. We may investigate misuse, suspend or terminate accounts, notify app stores or hosting providers, and pursue any remedies allowed by law.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties including implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall oona, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
